Arrival and Departure Information
A.M and P.M.
Please contact the school office at 875-6415 before 9:00 a.m. if your child is absent from school for any reason. If we are not notified we will consider your child unexcused.
If you know in advance that your child will be absent from school due to an appointment, family situation, etc., please send a note to the office with the information for our attendance files. We need to be informed in writing - please, do not call.
If your child needs to leave school during the day for an appointment, please send a note with your child in the morning. Have them stop in the office before 8:00 a.m. to be given a pass which will excuse them from class. We need to be informed in writing - please, do not call. When leaving the building during the school day, a parent/guardian needs to come into the office to pick up their child.
Homework for absent students must be requested before 9:00 a.m. and will be posted in our daily bulletin for the teaching staff. Homework will be ready to pick up at 3:00 p.m. on the table outside the office.
A.M. ARRIVAL PRIOR
TO 8 0'CLOCK
ALL students dropped off or walking to school should
enter the building through the east doors on Randolph Street. As
they enter the building they are to go directly to the old gym to
wait for the 8 a.m. bell. They are not to go to their lockers
without a pass from the supervisor.
Students who arrive after 8:06 will need to report to the office
for a tardy pass to class.
All bus riders will enter through the doors on the west side of the building adjoining the black top. They will also go directly to the old gym where they will wait for the 8 a.m. bell.
All students who ride bicycles to school should enter the building through the blue doors on the east side of Pannebaker gym. These students should go directly to the old gym where they will wait for the 8 a.m. bell.
DISMISSAL AT THE
END OF THE DAY
All bus riders will leave the building through the lower
north door of the glass walk way that connects the east and west
buildings to board the afternoon buses.
6th grade students will leave through the east doors on
Randolph Street or the west doors on Mercer Street.
7th and 8th grade students will leave through the east doors
on Randolph Street.
All students riding bikes will exit through the blue doors
on the east side of Pannebaker Gym.
